To keep friends with a past
is difficult enough
but to do it with females
is heroic
to be okay with the idea
that someone else waxes masculine
better than you
to keep them even though
they're cool
to know that inspiration is only a good idea
if it's positive
cause we all have a private war
within us
but the darkness is a veil,
