Quote of the day:

" I was not trying to be shocking, or to be a pioneer. I wasn’t trying to change society, or to be ahead of my time. I didn’t think of myself as liberated, and I don’t believe that I did anything important. I was just myself. I didn’t know any other way to be, or any other way to live."--Bettie Page

So, I now officially have two job offers; I can either do telemarketing for 7.50 an hour, or I can hostess (and hopefully waitress) right across the street for I don't know how much money. I think I'm going to pick the hostessing gig, because that way I can just roll out of bed and be at work already. I mean HOW SWEET IS THAT for someone with no car!!!! I mean, this place is LITERALLY in my backyard. It'll be like when people do pub gigs in England and live above the pub they work at. I couldn't have found a more convenient place to work if I'd opened a bar in my own kitchen!!!!!!! Well, this should officially cement my status as the Patron Saint of Slacking! Ha ha!! Actually, I'm kinda jazzed at the thought of working in a brand-new, no-rules-set-in-stone-yet restaurant. I mean, I'm sure they'll tell us how they want to run things, but I mean, it's all new staff, so we'll all be in the same boat, running around like decapitated chickens trying to figure out what the hell we're doing. AAAAAAAAhhhhh, it'll be beautiful. I smell sit-com material. It opens next Thursday. WEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
