happy 20-10th, Corinne!

So, lots of strange and magnificent happenings in Natabaloo land lately. This weekend was the 30th birthday party of a very near and dear friend of mine. I saw a lot of peope I haven't seen in a very long time. It was aaaaaaaaaawsome. I haven't had so many flashbacks at once since I did the night I drank an entire pot of coffee to myself along with a handful of antihistamines. BADUMP-BUMP. It was strange timing, because I also quit my job on Friday, and J and I gave our notice for the appartment on Saturday. It didn't really hit me until Sunday that a month from now, almost everything about my life is going to be completely different. HOOO! Try explaining that to a crowd you haven't seen in two or three years. Perhaps I just don't fully grasp the reality of what's happening yet, but right now I just feel that I'm learning a very important lesson about life. Sometimes the only thing to get you moving is a swift kick in the ass, and if all the people around you are too nice (or too impotent, or too indifferent) to do it for you, you have to do it for yourself...
