IDENTITY MANAGEMENT ARCHITECT
One of the world’s leading renowned technology companies – Fortune 100 – requires an Identity Management Architect, reporting to the Canada Practice Manager for Software Services, to understand customer's business objectives, define tradeoff alternatives, and communicate Enterprise level IT solutions to customers.
The Identity Management Architect’s essential skill set must include: Ability to analyze customer's Information Technology (IT) Architecture and its effectiveness in meeting the company's business needs. Development of network identity architectures and frameworks for the design and implementation of solutions that meet specific customer needs and requirements. Interfacing with customer upper management to articulate the business and technical value behind network identity. Extended travel to customer locations is required.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Proven experience in architecting Identity Management solutions including identity provisioning, lifecycle maintenance, access control, and Single Sign On enablement. Directory/LDAP, Portal, Messaging, Application Server architecture, design and implementation.
Federated Identity.
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills suitable for communication to technical levels and to mid-level management up through senior executives.
Ability to work independently with little supervision/management direction.
Knowledge of Sun's Identity Management suite of products is a definite asset.
This includes Sun Java Enterprise System Identity Manager, Access Manager and Directory Server.
Strong programming background with emphasis on J2EE technologies (Java, JSP, Servlets, etc). Knowledge of XML.
Lead large-scale software system integration projects with focus on Identity Management and Single Sign On (SSO).
Knowledge of software development methodologies.
Knowledge of other competing technologies in the Identity Management and SSO space.
