Well, to be honest, after so many months, I hardly know where to begin. I tell you what, I won't fill you in on everything. Some of it's boring. I'll just sort of pick up where I left off and let you fill in the rest. Good god, I don't even know if anyone's still reading this dead thing. I haven't checked my counter in a while...Judging by the looks of things here on the inside, I'm inclined to guess that some of the confusion was due to 're-tooling' on the part of Blogspot.
Anyway, I'm rambling. Just stretching my legs, I suppose. I'm still working at A&B, although I have now moved through, and come out the other side, of working in the claims department for four months and then quitting, and going back to software. I've done a little tutoring, and a lot of socializing. I turned 26. I'm going to China for a week at the end of June. And, if all goes according to plan, I'm getting married at the end of the summer...
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How does that song go? "What a difference a day makes..."

I'm listening to:
CAT POWER - Moon Pix
THE FAUNTS - High Expectations/Low results
BILLIE HOLIDAY - God Bless the Child
IBIZA BY DAY - Mixed by Chris Coco (from the British magazine MUZIK, cerca 2001)
THE SHINS - Chutes Too Narrow (a play copy I pan-handled from A&B. he he he.)
Things are certainly going spooky and wierd, that's for sure. I feel like I've landed a job as a busy receptionist on a perpetually suspended hot-air balloon or maybe a submarine; not really sure what to make of it. Life's a trip. All my horoscopes keep telling me this is my year for a pick-up in career...I guess the year ain't over yet. In any case I've got plenty to keep me occupied right now. I'm just not that concerned about my job. It's never boring, I'll tell you that much. I'm still grinning all the time...
Anyway, I've been writing plenty enough stuff, but it's time for me to pick-up my pace again. I've been working on another short story to build my collection for the novel I eventually want it to become. I'm about 3/4 finished the rough copy. Of the short story that is, not the novel. No, that still has a loooong way to go. It's all so very tricky and post-modern-neo-existential, you know? I tell you what I think is really cute; our jazz/classical guy at work (an older gentleman who works at A&B on the weekends as a hobby)has taken to calling me "old-timer"! I love it;) People always said it was like I was born 50 years old. That would make me, what, like 85 years old by now?
I was going to put in a poem today, but I think I'll wait. Don't want 'blow my wad', as they say.
So, hello all. I'm off to check my blog counter thingy.
