So I just noticed something creepy that never caught my attention before: the blogspot adds that run at the top of the blog are tailored, I guess, to whatever themes the "powers that be" assume your blog is all about. Nifty in a way, but also dangerous. Case in point: a friend of mine has a rather political blog and her banner is advertising sites related to Iraq right now. Mine, I noticed today, is running ads for sites on Black Magic or something. I just want to make it clear that I DO NOT explicitely endorse these ads. I do not research them, find them, or generate them myself. I'm pretty sure I've never even mentioned anything about Black Magic in my blog. I suppose my topics can be somewhat etherial at times, and I'm sure I've betrayed my sense of superstitiousness more than once, but I'm not a witch - sorry - wiccan or anything of that ilk. I'm just curious about the existential mysteries of life. Anyway, that's the end of my sermon--I mean--speach.
