I wrote this one a couple years ago after I saw a documentary on Michael Alig called "Party Monster"...

LEGEND

I have had my taste of evil
"Of limbs entwined like luscious vines"
Seduced by the freedom of free will
And dazzling smiles
Reaching to embrace me
From behind a blinding glitter, but

A legend, one aught not to be
If it be one of infamy

But my words grow sterile
And music brings the burden
Of a strapping, strapped-in soul.
I have been seduced by the tree,
Human to the last rib,
Raptured by the after math.

I have seen utter hedonism
I have felt it come over me
Like some elixir I forgot I took
an hour before...

Once begun a noble cause
It turns into the very thing it mocks
"Everyone's soul gets broken"
Love your enemies
Lover your enemy

I have been seduced by the freedom of free will
But a legend, one aught not to be
If it be one of infamy.
